My name is John Mouni and I am a second-year Bachelor of Health student at UNB Saint John.
UNB Saint John’s state-of-the-art Health and Social Innovation Centre (HSIC) will be a building like no other: purpose-driven infrastructure with a focus on health education and research. Overlooking the campus quad and the Kennebecasis River, this 65,000-square-foot, three-and-a-half-story structure will be in close proximity to Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick, New Brunswick Community College and the Saint John Regional Hospital.
Along with being a space for UNB’s new Faculty of Health, the HSIC will house leading-edge collaborative research clusters with national and global impact. It will foster transformative health care reform in New Brunswick and beyond. All UNB Saint John alumni can take pride in this exciting growth and transformation of our campus.
I hope that you, as a member of the Saint John alumni community, will support this exciting development. This step forward will have a lasting impact, rippling throughout our campus to our city and beyond. I am excited to share that UNB will be adding name plaques to the main staircase in the shape of a footprint – or a “step” – to acknowledge the steps our generous donors have made to make this building a reality. We are asking for a commitment of $1,000 – over up to five years – to commemorate your name or that of a loved one on the Centre's impressive main staircase overlooking the Kennebecasis River.
This is an important milestone and we want you to be a part of it! If you’d like to learn more about your other options for supporting the HSIC building or the Faculty of Health, please contact Marcus Lees.
With best wishes,
John Mouni
